The FEAT Appalachian Quilt Tour is scheduled for Saturday, May 13th, 2017. Barn quilt squares will be featured on this tour, with lunch at the Laurel Gorge Cultural Heritage Center. "Quilting: A Legacy of Love" will be presented by speaker Bobbie Bryant. There will also be a visit to the String Along Quilters’ annual quilt show in West Liberty. The tour is open to the public.
The tour bus will be leaving from the old Foodfair (Ralph's) parking lot at 503 N. Carol Malone Blvd. This is the lot for the now-vacant Foodfair building by Family Dollar and James Family Outfitters in Grayson, NOT the new Foodfair parking lot by Taco Bell.

The tour will move north to south along KY 7 in Carter, Elliott and Morgan Counties with stops and stories along the Kentucky Quilt Trail.
Hear storyteller Jackie Clevenger relate the history of "Quilts on the Underground Railroad" at the
Grayson Art Gallery.
A catered lunch will be served and historic quilts shown in the scenic Laurel Gorge at the
Laurel Gorge Cultural Heritage Center in Sandy Hook, where rising Kentucky author Bobbie Smith Bryant will present "Quilts, A Legacy of Love."
The tour will proceed to West Liberty to the String Along Quilters’ annual quilt show featuring classic quilts and local vendors.
Plus, enjoy other stories, door prizes, fun on the bus, and surprises along the way.
The bus will return to place of departure between 4:00 and 5:00 PM.
